Taste Gym ("we", "us") is operated by Comora Pty Ltd (New South Wales, Australia). This policy explains what we collect, what we do not, and how we handle data.
The short version
- Taste Gym does not require an account.
- Your training data is stored on your device.
- We do not sell personal information.
- If we add accounts or cloud sync later, we will update this policy before it applies.
Information we collect
1) Data you create in the app
Taste Gym stores things like:
- set results and history
- Atlas progress
- streaks and related stats
Right now, this data is stored locally on your device. We do not receive it on our servers because there is no account system.
2) Diagnostics and basic usage signals
We may collect limited diagnostic information to help the app run well (for example, crash logs or basic performance signals). At the time of writing, analytics is not fully turned on. If we enable analytics, it will be for:
- understanding feature usage at a high level
- improving stability and performance
- fixing bugs faster
We aim to keep this data minimal and non-identifying where possible.
3) Notifications
If you enable notifications, we send reminders you request (for example, daily reps or "rescue" nudges). Notification permissions are controlled in iOS Settings.
4) Website
If you visit tastegym.com, standard server logs may record basic technical information (like IP address and user agent) for security and performance. If you contact us, we will receive whatever you send (like your email and message).
What we do not collect
Taste Gym does not:
- access your contacts
- access your photos or camera
- collect precise location
- collect advertising identifiers for tracking
- run third-party ads
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and improve Taste Gym
- troubleshoot issues and improve performance
- respond to support requests securely
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information.
We may share limited information with service providers only when needed to run the app or website (for example, hosting or crash reporting). If we do, they are required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
Because app data is stored on your device, retention is mostly under your control.
- To remove your app data, you can delete the app from your device.
- If you contact support, we may retain your message and our replies for support and record-keeping.
Your choices and rights
- Notifications: you can enable or disable in iOS Settings.
- App data: uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.
- Support: you can ask questions or request deletion of support emails by contacting us.
Children
Taste Gym is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change how we collect or use data (for example, adding accounts or cloud sync), we will update this policy and change the "Last updated" date.
